Officially opened in October 2025.
Our collection now features more than 200 gowns, with new additions continuing to arrive. We also offer a consignment opportunity for ex debutantes to sell their dresses through our library.

We only offer private try-on appointments, giving each debutante the time and space to explore the collection and find the gown that makes them feel incredible.

The Dress Library History
The "Dream’s Can Come True" project was founded by Josie Cornish OAM in 2022. This project allowed girls to hire affordable and beautiful debutante gowns that were donated in fantastic condition - some of them new with tags. Why buy new when there are so many stunning, gently-worn gowns that have only been worn for a few hours.

This project started in Beechworth by Josie and in 2024 and when she moved to Melbourne, the gowns were moved to Chiltern and the project was taken over by Shayne and when it grew two ladies offered to help her, Faye & Heather. With the full collection having over 200 gowns and rapidly growing.

Dianne & Desi are so honoured to take over this project & to bring the Albury District Dress Library to Albury-Wodonga & Surrounds.

Bookings are available for private “try on” sessions.

The library is located at Suite 15, 499 Dean Street, Albury.
